@mfinelli apologies for the delay in replying to this. I had a lot of these templates requested, but I couldn't quite figure out the right place for them. I ended up settling on #2857, and the Puppet template now lives at Feel free to add any further changes there, and thanks again for the contribution! |

No official documentation, however this PR explains the items in official puppetlabs modules' gitignore files, such as NTP or Apache.
These changes apply to everyone writing puppet modules, at least as a starting point.
