for v0.4.0 despite the release notes saying that support for Python 3.13 was fixed/re-introduced: #840

Hi @matt-sd-watson,

This was due to dependency constraints in spatial-image and multiscale-spatial-image. Both these libraries can support python 3.13 right now so we had a new release a few days ago and updating the conda recipes.
Will let you know once that is finished.

conda-forge/spatialdata-feedstock#21 fixed the issue, other repositories would still need to have their feedstocks updated, but main spatialdata now works with python 3.13
