As @wholmgren mentioned would happen (#1287 (comment)), the ubuntu-16.04 image we use for the two sets of linux tests has been removed and those test jobs are now failing (example):
The currently available options are
ubuntu-18.04andubuntu-20.04, along withubuntu-latest. I arbitrarily chose20.04for this PR as I don't think it should matter much.Note that #1306 still needs some work and I think it makes sense to just get azure working again in the meantime.
