Fixes #3433

Changes:
This documentation amendment will make the installation guide more accessible for people with a moderate amount of developer experience, but who are new to Docker.

I have verified that this pull request:

  • has no linting errors (npm run lint)
  • has no test errors (npm run test)
  • is from a uniquely-named feature branch and is up to date with the develop branch.
  • is descriptively named and links to an issue number, i.e. Fixes #123

Thanks for your work on this!

I think the text that you have here generally sums it up! Since I've been planning on making a few updates to this page, there might be a few minor edits to the wording/general document structure, but I think most of what's here should be preserved! Feel free to also raise any suggestions then once that's been done!
