Genesis:backup:db?

I find myself often wishing Genesis had a cap [environment] genesis:backup:db command which would save a mysql dump into a /backup directory (one that will be under a .gitignore). I'm using DO for my hosting and they've been known to well,errr...mess up and kill all backups.

I'm probably going to submit a pull request for this.

Anyone else thing this is a good idea or want this feature?

I do. Saves having to set up Sequel Pro or something and manually exporting the db.

Oh wait a minute, you mean just doing the equivalent of stopping cap local genesis:down:db half-way? (Where the DB is downloaded, but not imported locally & subsequently deleted?)
