It requires git-lfs to pull down if you want to adjust the favicon and also the affinity designer software available only on Windows and Mac. Might be a good idea to switch to Figma at some point and commit a .fig file.

I have tried the new version, but I still have a black icon with transparent background which makes the icon hard to recognize or invisible in dark browser tabs which I have in most of my browsers. Here you see code-server with black as first and white as second tab:
