Technically a breaking change. We're not considering it such because Message.action was only introduced recently as part of the annotations/materialization work, which isn't yet part of a publicly released feature yet, and isn't added to our main documentation. So it's just very unlikely that anyone is relying on the action yet. Our inband occupancy events docs still all say to use the message name, which is not changing.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Refactor
    • Renamed an enum constant from "META_OCCUPANCY" to "META" in the user-facing API.

Walkthrough

The change involves renaming an enum constant in the MessageAction enum within the codebase. Specifically, the constant META_OCCUPANCY has been renamed to META, while its ordinal position and all other aspects of the enum remain unchanged. No other modifications or additions were made to the enum or related methods.

Poem

A hop and a skip, a constant anew,
META_OCCUPANCY now simply META—how true!
Enum names trimmed, the code feels light,
A rabbit’s delight in names done right.

7-7: Enum constant rename is appropriate

The change correctly updates the constant name from META_OCCUPANCY to the more concise META without altering its ordinal value or surrounding logic.
