Hey @choBytesMini 👋 We are seeing a higher volume of student developer pack inquiries coming through. We are working our way through addressing these as fast as possible. I can share that your request has been passed onto the GitHub Education team and will be processed as soon as possible, but I am afraid I do not have a timeline to share for when you can expect this to happen. Usually with these types of tickets we may include an investigation as fraudulent activity has been identified on either the account or the associated school's. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our due diligence ensuring that bad actors impersonating students don't jeopardise our ability to provide academic benefits of value. As no other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions I am going to close this discussion. We appreciate your understanding! |

Hi everyone,
To the GitHub Education Support Team,
I am writing to appeal the recent revocation of my GitHub Student Developer Pack status. I am a currently enrolled Junior (3rd Year) student majoring in Internet of Things (IoT) Engineering at [Name of Your University].
I sincerely apologize for the delay in addressing this issue. I recently discovered my access was disabled, and upon checking my email, I realized I had missed the automated re-verification notification. This happened during a period of intense mid-term examinations and project deadlines, where the notification was unfortunately overlooked or filtered into my junk mail folder. Ignoring the message was entirely unintentional.
As an IoT Engineering student, these tools—particularly GitHub Copilot and the associated cloud credits (Azure/DigitalOcean)—are indispensable. I rely on them daily for writing and debugging complex code across multiple platforms (C++ for microcontrollers, Python for edge computing) and for hosting my capstone project's cloud infrastructure. The revocation has significantly disrupted my current academic workflow.
I confirm that I am still a fully enrolled student and have not graduated. I am prepared to submit valid documentation immediately to prove my current status, including my Student ID card and current semester transcript.
Could you please provide guidance on the fastest way to re-verify my account and reinstate my student developer benefits? I am eager to resolve this and continue my studies without interruption.
Thank you for your understanding and prompt assistance.
Sincerely,
