Hi @tormozit, Your request to support wildcard search like "модул*" for finding all forms of a word sounds very useful, especially for languages with rich morphology like Russian. Being able to search by the starting part of a word would definitely improve discoverability and ease of use. I recommend adding your suggestion to GitHub’s official feedback channels as well to increase visibility. Meanwhile, you might also try using third-party tools or local scripts to help with morphological search as a workaround. Thanks for raising this! |

Non code search in issues currently works on lexems. It means user need to give complete word form in search query.
It makes very hard to find all forms of word in one query. For example in Russian langauge a word usually have 10+ forms. So if you want to find all issues containing noun "модуль" (module) in any form, you need to give them all(!) in query:
keywords: cyrrilyc
I ask you to extend search syntax by wildcard ability. To search by starting part of word - "модул*".
